This is my vision for the James River Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. Founded in 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during The Great Depression, the organization was founded by a group of Black mothers who were looking to find and create enriching activities for their children. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization for children between the ages of 2 and 19 with mothers holding membership.
