Hope for the Journey (HFTJ) is an annual conference based on the Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Model, an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. It is Show Hope's desire that the conference serves as a resource for the churches and organizations that host, allowing them to further open their doors and build relationships with families impacted by adoption and foster care in their communities. Foster and adoptive parents – registration required but no charge. It's really neat that we not only have agencies who are serving families and children, but agencies who are resources for family and children in our community. These additions will help parents and caregivers take these concepts and turn them into hands-on and ready to use tools. It is applicable to anyone, even if this is their first exposure to TBRI®. 27 is excited to host foster/adoptive parents and those who work with vulnerable children for a time of in-person encouragement and trauma-training from a faith perspective.
