Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. And congratulations as well to our final Park Forest Police Department's tablet winner: Noah. Students were thrilled to open their personal package of books during the Book Blast celebration on Wednesday, and showed off one of their favorites in a school-wide book parade!

The ARIS library received an $800 shopping spree with the funds left over from the event, and the library purchased books to put on the shelves for check out so that all students could use them! It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written words they encounter as they learn to read themselves. That's about 3, 800 books we earned! The 1st winner of the Book Blast Treasure Chest stuffed with cash is Lyrik Speegle!

A great way to support our school. PES & BCCU2 12:30 dismissal tomorrow, Friday, February 10th for school improvement activities. We are so grateful for everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to read to our students this week. We have more prizes to be awarded with our Book Blast event! Report cards go home today. Kindergarten student, Millie Gowdy and first grader, Devin Toney, were the fundraising leaders for their grade level. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 Book Blast shopping spree.

Kindergarten is adding. Final Update 10-26-2022. We're having a Book Blast at Flasher Public School to help our students build their home libraries and ensure that all of our students have books. We hope to see you at School District 163's Back to School Fair this Saturday, August 13th at Michelle Obama School (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
Today, we were so honored to have Sheriff Gentry, Mr. Orr, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Brock, and our very own Mrs. Garner read to students during their assigned library time. Mr. Herold's students were some of the 74 students that got to take home their 3 prizes today! So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees! Mohawk is so very proud of you; keep #ElevatingExcellence! Our Book Vending Machine will be used to reward students with good behavior with a book! Contributions will be accepted until midnight tonight.
Bramlett Elementary students participated in the Book Blast program to help build our students' home libraries. ElevatingExcellence. It's been fun giving away Book Blast Treasure Chests and even an iPad over the past two weeks. Send invitations to at least 10 friends or family members to support our students (Don't worry, all the information you provide is secure and only used for this program.
Teachers will meet students outside at 9:00 AM on the first day of school; and doors will open for breakfast at 9:00 AM the rest of the week. We know that reading to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. If you would still like to contribute to the event, please do so through the invitation from your favorite student or make a school wide contribution: You have until Sunday night at midnight to contribute. 08:00 am – 04:00 pm. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend. Contributions will be accepted until Sunday, October 16 at midnight. Our students enjoyed another fun day of Read Across America. Remember, you need 10+ contacts to be entered into the iPad drawing. Tonight, we are asking you to take 7 minutes to support our Help Build My Home Library initiative for the kiddos.
