5T, is popularly believed to provide greater energy output. The hotter bavauto coils theoretically should reduce that blow out, but this is hard to test. Be reviving an old thread. WTB: OEM Class 2 LTW GT wing with risers- Mazak. Like I said, if you want them, buy them and move on. Exposed to engine heat, they would stop working. All of the CLAIMS with no real data seems to be the aftermarket coil companies MO. I am running the Plasma coils. Performance ignition coils vs stock kits. This yields a 'firestorm' of spark to more efficiently ignite the mixture. If you can get a great deal, go for it. This is exactly why I asked the question.
