The road through the RRG is narrow and winding, in some places making seemingly 90 degree turns with sketchy shoulders that could lead to a painful landing, if not, an untimely death. Each route has a unique and breathtakingly gorgeous end point, but both present significant challenges. Larger than a football field, it was used by the Adena for milennia. The best source of information for this hike was Jerrell Goodpaster's book, "Hinterlands, " which describes over 100 unofficial trails in the gorge. We made a quick stop at Indian Arch before heading on around the ridge to the Adena Arch and beyond. From there we made the hike around the two-foot wide trail that leads from the Ballroom to the Ohm Hole. We celebrated by taking some engagement photos.
