It is a sacred, quiet environment where children can work with beautiful materials which allow them to draw deeper into the essentials of our faith (all handmade by people from our parish). They contemplate parables that allow them to ponder the mystery of Kingdom of God, especially the call to joyful relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd. The materials are made by hand by our catechists and parishioners for the children. Through extensive experience praying with children and observing them work in the "Atrium" they identified which Scripture passages seemed to resonate the most deeply with the children.
