Initially I thought this was going to be a bit of a light hearted, predictable romance and it was far from that. Catch the World's Largest Mudfish and bring it to Old Man Barlo. Bless you, increasing your health by 1200 for 1 hour. This was a beautiful and emotional story that dealt with some very heavy topics. Wow classic tbc the one that got away. It kept me guessing, which I always love. Their story didn't run smoothly and its It's not your typical love story but more about 'the one'.

I would recommend this to anyone that feels they're first love got away. I think ultimately, this book embodied the saying "right person, wrong time. "
The characters are flawed filled with a lot of vulnerabilities. All thoughts and opinions are my own. It's not your typical boy meets girl story, demonstrating the raw, vulnerable and often painful sides to falling in love. I'd know that scar anywhere. Flawed but completely loveable. I am really surprised that this book doesn't have a higher rating, I absolutely loved it. 1 – 75: Starting Areas. Clara comes from a privileged background in London and Benjamin has never left the north. I look forward to reading other books by this author in the future. The one that got away wow tbc. I almost DNF'd this but then something hooked me and I couldn't put it down. Like a couple of the primary gathering professions, it's advisable to stay in Old World content until you reach a bit past skill level 300, so just continue using the same pools in Dustwallow until you hit between 330 and 335. That's right, it's that amazing!

There are several disturbing twists in this book, and your sympathies jump around too. 20yrs later now, a bombing is reported in the city where they met forcing Clara to go in search of Ben. I felt invested in the lives of Clara and Benjamin in a way I haven't with a story for a good while. The process of Fishing itself involves casting a line from your Fishing Pole into any body of water and waiting until it bobs up and down, meaning something is on the line. I don't know where to start with this review!!! The one that got away wow gold wow. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Rixon has created two complex and luminous protagonists in Clara and Benjamin who totally captured my heart, not because they are perfect, attractive or romanticised but because they are raw, real and flawed. And Benjamin, you want to hug him and help him to be himself.
It's romance but somethings are somehow far from my comfort zone reading wise, but it was such a good reading experience. Sometime between 275 and 300, you should also read Master Fishing – The Art of Angling to reach the final tier of Fishing. I loved these characters, but I was annoyed at their sometimes rash decisions in the earlier timeline, and like many of us when we were young, they didn't always make good decisions. Read if you love: *opposites attract.

This is not a love story, but it is a story of first love, of the mistakes people make, and the lengths they'll go to put things right. Despite the cute illustrated characters on the cover, this definitely isn't a cosy romance. I received this ebook via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review and I would start by thanking everyone involved in allowing me early access. Charlotte Duckworth is one of my favourite authors so it makes sense that Charlotte Rixon is her pen name for this book. This story deals with mistakes, bad communication, addiction and what it does to relationships, dashed dreams, hope, abuse, familial love, doing the right thing, etc.. It started off very slow rolling but it picks up and the story comes together nicely. Despite the polarity of their upbringings, they both feel an immeasurable spark immediately after meeting in a bar while at college. I found the characters to be really likeable, and really human. Spicy Meter: -10, but also 3 fire emojis. I enjoyed this book very much. About the past she never truly left behind.
A story like this gives hope for second chances. And that's the secret, that very much spoiler worthy secret that you find out only at the almost end as Benjamin and Clara's worlds are suddenly thrust back together after this artificially created gap between them. I enjoyed the English slang, and for the most part, enjoyed the story. Found in Shellfish Trap along the southwest coast of Desolace, beyond Shadowprey Village.
Once you hand in the Artisan quest to Nat, you should stick around Dustwallow Marsh and continue fishing until you reach skill level 300. The dual point of view will take you through Claire's and Benjamin's lives in the years leading up to the bombing and their various life mishaps. Brilliant in every way; making me laugh and cry while filling me with nostalgia and longing. The description says that it is not a love story, and I was so surprised by how realistic it felt. I recommend this book to anyone looking for realistic fiction and who loves the idea of examining life through reading.
