My carrier bearing needs replaced and I planned on doing all 3 U joints too but considered swapping the entire shaft out. Anythings possible i guess...... i kind of like the idea of a lighter one piece drive arently there is a significant wieght difference.????? If you look at the transmission you will see how the slip yoke (front of the driveshaft) needs to be orientated to slip into the transmission.
