I was not disappointed. Decent primer for a student beginning in the field of psychology, with the forty listed research cases simplistically written in the different aspects of study. I don't think people need to go out and find this book, but if you stumble on it, feel free to flip around it. This book provides a more in-depth look and analyses that cannot be found by reading a textbook or research alone.
As a young teen, I was not allowed to watch shows like this but more due to the nudity and profanity than the gore. Songs include "Deck the Halls with Parts of Charlie, " "Twas the Fright Before Christmas, " and "Should Old Cadavers Be Forgot" along with a number of tunes focusing on the Crypt Keeper and his strange enjoyment of the holiday season. If there's anything to be learnt from Tales From the Crypt, it's that puns are annoying and hard to do. Everything feels rushed and cheap. Tales from the Crypt episodes were already often star-studded affairs filled with television veterans, and adding marquee film talent only raised the bar even further. This is the first of three projected ``Crypt Keeper'' films. Based on the 1950's comic series of the same name, Tales From the Crypt was able to set itself apart because it had found it's home on HBO, a premium cable network.

That, kiddies, is why Tales from the Crypt is the best series HBO has, or may ever, air. What's Cookin: Remember when I spoke of guest stars? There are many times, being a horror fan and critic, that I ask myself "why do I watch these movies? The head-shaven Zane plays the Collector as a smooth-talking Devil who manages to conceal that fork in his silver tongue. It was a star-studded affair in front of, behind, and adjacent to the camera. Though the first season was short, it's a pithy slice of the series as a whole, with directors like Robert Zemeckis, Richard Donner, and Mary Lambert each helming one of the six episodes, and excellent character actors like Joe Pantoliano (as a carnival performer who literally dies on stage, again and again) and Amanda Plummer (playing an axe murderer long before her turn in So I Married An Axe Murderer) popping up along the way. This is the best complete series set of any tv show that i have ever seen.
