Samuel Uriah Eck died at Topton yesterday after an illness of six weeks of cancer of the stomach, aged 59 years. Born in Birdsboro, she was a supervisor at Gotschel Poultry Factory in Birdsboro for eight years. Pleasant, on Friday. Funeral services will be held from his late home on Wednesday at 2 o'clock, followed by continued services in the Mertztown church. She is survived by the following children: Frank J. Eck, Mrs. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p. in the Naftzinger Funeral Home, Centerport, the Rev. Julia V. Erdman, widow of Oswin H. Erdman, died Wednesday at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. Edwin B. Benner, Sumneytown, in her 78th years. His 3d wife was Susan Tatnel, whome he married in 1859. Eck would have been 90 next Saturday. Other survivors include a brother, Kenneth D. Herman, Kutztown; and four sisters: Marie A.
